Title : Dark Matter indirect detection: Challenges and Prospects

Abstract : Though, dark matter (DM) can be searched directly by looking its scattering with a nuclei when it passes through detector, the current experiments (e.g. LUX) have put very stringent bounds on its cross-section. This makes its indirect detection through experiments like AMS-02 and IceCube an alternative option. The indirect detection of DM is possible through its annihilation or decay into standard model particles. Basically indirect detection is focused on the primary and/or secondary products of DM annihilation or decay in the form of neutrinos, photons, positrons or other cosmic-rays. In my talk, I will review the current status of the signals which may be the plausible signature(s) of DM and address them in some specific models.
