Title : Thermodynamic volume of black holes, 1st law and the Smarr relation
Abstract : There have been interesting attempts to include the volume and pressure terms in the black hole thermodynamics. In this talk, the general form of the thermodynamic volume of black holes is given and its related extended 1st law is discussed. Another interesting relation, which also contain the thermodynamic volume, the so-called Smarr relation is also discussed. For its derivation, we adopt a novel scaling transformation in the reduced action formalism.
